Bernard Alisson is the son of Luther Alisson, both blues guitarists. My first meeting was in 1989 at Le Petit Journal Montparnasse in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. I saw Bernard again in concert at the New Morning Jazz Club in 2015 to take this picture of his hand on a Prince guitar! This photo is on the cover of my latest book, *Une guitare dix doigts* (A Guitar with Ten Fingers).
